Terms of Use Terms & Conditions Effective Date: June 2025 By booking a stay at The Chesterton Hotel (operated by Parkview Estates (2018) Ltd), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation. 1. Room Rates Room rates are quoted per room, per night, on one of the following bases: Room Only (RO) Bed & Breakfast (B&B) Dinner, Bed & Breakfast (DBB) All rates include VAT at the prevailing rate. Please note: Rates are dynamically priced and may vary based on season, demand, or availability. Special requests (e.g. room location, early check-in) are subject to availability and not guaranteed. 2. Pre-Paid Room Rates Pre-paid and promotional rates must be paid in full at the time of booking. These rates are non-refundable and non-transferable. 3. Children’s Policy Children under 12 stay free of charge when sharing a room with adults. Children in their own room are charged 75% of the adult rate. Meals for children are charged as taken. Child supervision is the responsibility of accompanying adults at all times. 4. Confirmation & Payment A valid credit or debit card is required to secure your booking. A one-night deposit will be charged at booking. Full balance is payable on arrival. Extras are paid on departure. American Express payments incur a 2% surcharge. Guests must be 18 or over to book and stay unaccompanied. 5. Cancellations & No-Shows Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (by 11:00 AM) before arrival. Cancellations after this point will incur a one-night charge. No-shows will be charged in full for one night. Pre-paid bookings are non-refundable and non-amendable. 6. Check-In, Late Arrival & Check-Out Check-in: From 3:00 PM Check-out: By 11:00 AM Early check-in / late checkout may be available at a charge. Late arrivals (after 10:00 PM) must notify reception in advance. In rare cases of overbooking or emergency maintenance, we may relocate guests to a comparable nearby property. 7. Commissionable Rates All published rates are non-commissionable unless agreed in writing. Online bookings are not commissionable. 8. Packages & Upgrades Packages are based on two adults sharing a double or twin room. Room upgrades are available subject to availability and may incur a supplement. 9. Guest Responsibilities & Liabilities Guests are responsible for all personal belongings. The hotel accepts no liability for loss or damage unless caused by negligence. A damage deposit may be pre-authorised at check-in. Smoking or vaping in rooms will incur a £250 deep-cleaning fee. Excessive cleaning may result in additional charges. 10. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements Please inform us of any allergies in advance. We take care but cannot guarantee allergen-free meals due to shared kitchen facilities. 11. Group Bookings & Events Bespoke terms apply to bookings of 5 rooms or more, including deposits and cancellation terms. Weddings or private events are subject to a separate signed contract, which overrides general terms in case of conflict. 12. Use of Premises Goods/services cannot be sold on-site without written permission. Event ticket sales are not permitted. Use of hotel branding requires prior written approval. No signage or displays may be affixed without permission. 13. External Contractors All external contractors must report to the duty manager. You are fully responsible for their conduct and liable for any damage. We reserve the right to deny access. 14. Photography The hotel may capture general event photos for marketing purposes. Guests entering public areas consent to possible incidental inclusion in photos/videos. Certain areas may be restricted from photography. 15. Accessibility Please inform us of any access needs in advance. Many areas are accessible, though not all areas are step-free. 16. Force Majeure We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, such as weather, power failure, or government restrictions. 17. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled in the English courts. 18.
